Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for North Texas Counties
Including Collin and Denton Counties

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for counties north of I-20 in North Texas, including Collin and Denton counties, until 7 pm. The National Weather Service has warned of large hail, up to the size of eggs, and possible tornadoes.
The storms are expected to bring heavy rain, high winds, and hail. Residents are urged to seek shelter in a sturdy building and avoid driving through flooded areas.
